Dr. R Sagaya Jansi is an Assistant Professor in the PG Department of Bioinformatics at Stella Maris College, India, where she has served as Head of the Department since November 2019 and currently coordinates the IQAC. She has extensive teaching and research experience, having served as Assistant Professor at Loyola College, Research Assistant at the Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (DBT, Madras Christian College), and educator at Our Lady’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, handling subjects including molecular biology, clinical research management, bioinformatics, programming in C++, and biophysics. Her key contributions include docking studies of bioflavonoids targeting anti-apoptotic pathways, development of bioinformatics infrastructure, and designing interdisciplinary educational programs that integrate biotechnology and computational biology. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Heidari is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at Yazd University, Iran. He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, in 2008. His research focuses on molecular genetics, genetic engineering, and bioinformatics. Dr. Heidari has been a faculty member in the Department of Biology at Yazd University since 2005 and previously served in the Genetic Group at Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences from 2001 to 2005.
