Prof. Xiaomei Lyu is a leading researcher in synthetic biology-driven food science, microbial engineering, and biotechnology. Her work focuses on designing programmable microbial systems, metabolic pathway engineering, and CRISPR-based genetic regulation for applications in food functionality, metabolic health, and biomanufacturing.
